In your personal practice and rehearsal, how are you seeking to improve? What practice techniques are you using to accomplish this?

In my personal practice and rehearsal, I seek to improve by ability to stay at a steady tempo through out a piece without speeding up.  To accomplish this, I use a metronome in the back-round of my playing.
