After rehearsing from a different perspective, what did you hear in the ensemble that you haven't heard previously? How does this affect what you need to do in personal practice, rehearsal, and eventually the performance?

After rehearsing from a different position in the room, I heard a lot more of the flutes and clarinets.  I normally don't hear them as much, because they are at the front of the room, where as I am at the back.  This affects my personal practice by making me play softer, because it showed that the percussion section covers a lot of the other sections' parts when we are playing.
